SUSTAINABLE AND RESPONSIBLE CASHMERE YARNS

At Botiboty, the quality of our cashmere isn't just a promise; it's a guarantee. We've chosen to partner with an exceptional cashmere supplier, a leader in the luxury sector. They've been committed to producing sustainably sourced cashmere since 1999.
Moreover, this commitment has led to its Good Cashmere Standard certification. This certification attests that the cashmere comes from responsibly treated goats, that their environment is protected, and that the social, ecological, and economic living conditions of the farmers and their families are respected.

4 THREADS FOR MORE CASHMERE

Standing out in the cashmere industry, Botiboty raises the bar by crafting garments with 4 threads, while most producers rely on 2 threads. This method quadruples the density of cashmere, providing exceptional softness and warmth, as well as superior strength. The addition of the meticulously embroidered Botiboty crown adds an extra touch of refinement. The quality of the thread combined with Malagasy craftsmanship is a guarantee of superior quality.

AN EXCEPTIONAL CONFECTION IN MADAGASCAR

At Botiboty, we have chosen to have our cashmere pieces made in Madagascar, a country renowned for the excellence of its textile expertise. Clara, living on the Big Island, is the direct link with the garment workshop, which she carefully selected for its expertise, reputation, and the respect it grants its workforce. Artisanal heritage, rigorous technical training, and mastery of high-end knitting make Madagascar an exceptional partner. Our baby pieces are knitted there with high standards, in a humane and responsible environment.

OUR CROWN

Our crown-shaped logo pays homage to Ranavalona III, the last queen of Madagascar. A nod to the history of the country where all Botiboty pieces are carefully crafted.

THE SHOP

OUR PACKAGING

We are committed to using as little single-use packaging as possible to preserve and respect the environment. This begins with the departure of goods from Antananarivo, where we have chosen not to package our products individually in blister packs, which, while protecting the garment during transport and storage, uses a colossal amount of plastic.
