The Origin of the Logo
The royal heritage of Madagascar is like a treasure chest full of the island’s history and traditions. It goes way back to the time when different kingdoms ruled Madagascar, with special customs and kings. One of the most famous was the Merina Kingdom, which had its capital in Antananarivo. The kings of Merina left behind amazing buildings and helped keep the Malagasy culture alive.
Even though the French government stopped the kings from ruling in the late 1800s, the royal heritage is still very important to Madagascar. People celebrate it with festivals, museums, and events to remember and honor their history. It’s like a reminder of the amazing past that’s still a big part of Madagascar’s culture today.
Madagascar and its tales
Malagasy tales say a lot about the culture and nature of the country in which we make our cashmere. Little known, Botiboty wishes to highlight these tales through small booklets that accompany each online order. Each year, a different tale is put forward by Botiboty.
